Oniikin
The oniikin are believed to be the spawns from the realm of The Hells where the abomination of evil dwells. Oniikin possess supernatural powers that rivals even the elkai's magica. With the ability to shape shift, telepathy as well as a highly strong magical aptitude. Also called casts, oniikin are being from another realm not to be so trifled with. Along with their strong magica, oniikin are also deviants of evil, which means that they are regarded with severe cautioun and fear. However, the oniikin are also capable of being tamed. This form of taming an oniikin is what the guilds call "summoning." A magi who has been trained in the school of summoning will become a summoner or Saint Tanist, a class strictly exclusive to those who have the experience and knowledge of a great magi. Only a Saint Tanist can summon and quell the raging power of an oniikin and that is if the summoner has enough will power and mental strength also known as Spiritual Attunement. One must be spiritually competent for one to reign an oniikin's fiery nature.
Not all oniikin who come from the bowels of hell possess strong magical ashur capabilities. An oniikin's body mass triples that of an average being. This is because oniikin harness powerful storage of electrical energy. They are similar to the automaton that meta magi create to aid them. They have heavy, gravid body weight as well as high volocity within their body. Unlike the bio life of the world of Ein, Oniikin do not possess the same anatomy and bio make up of a normal individual. They do not have a heart, lungs, digestive system, nor do they seem to possess a brain, however they still function as a living organism with such features. It was discovered that they do have a nervous system with neurons far more active than than other kin. Which would explain how they're able to relentlessly carry on with seemingly abundence of energy. The oniikin are known for their strong ashure magica, however, they are more attune to meta magica because of their high electrical make up. The oniikin do not eat, but they can and will consume. They mostly will eat the meat from others and will consume the entirety of one. It is said that they are even able to consume one's soul and seem to have a craving for it. The soul of a kin is precious to an oniikin for it is the most delicious part of a being. Which is why they are regarded with fear to the levels of that of the volkari, but because they are able to be controlled to some degree, this fear is not so prevalent. Oniikin do not have reproductive organs, however, the behavior of mating as well as "breeding" with each other has been documented.
