As you trek through the evergreen forest, you couldn't help but take the time to appreciate the beauty of the forest, it's greenery is vibrant in color and seems to pop at you. It elicits you in further into its mysterious depths. Who knows what may lie inside the green pasture, though you are compelled to press on with the strange sense of security surrounding you. The ambiance of the forest is like that of any other forest; birds are chirping merrily as if they were in their own little world, serenading one another in a bout of flitting and fluttering dancing.The sounds of croaking towards your right can be heard the deeper you walk. You think to yourself that perhaps there had been a pond nearby. Your sense of curiosity has brought you this far, would be a shame not to fully investigate the beautiful scenery. You take the cut into the shrubs, pushing past the thickets while simultaneously spurring up some of the slumbering small locals hidden within. You watch them scurry past your moving feet, your destination still set towards the cacophony of croaks. The smell in the air grows heavy with the scent of wood and leaves as you get closer, it's scent leading you to a clearing. It takes you by surprise and you take in the sight of a pond. It glistens in the afternoon sunar, almost blinding your sight. Shielding your eyes from the array of beauty you scan over the crystalized water to see something peculiar, or rather someone.The figure sits across the pond ontop of a large boulder. It looked to be a female humanoid deer. There are large antlers growing from the top of her head, akin to those of elk. She doesn't seem to notice you with her back slightly facing you as she sat on the rock. Wishing not to disturb her you look to move on, however, the strange creature peaks your interest and calls to you. You step forward, stepping on a branch as you move and alerts the strange creature of your presence. She turns around with a knowing look, as if she weren't surprised at all to see you. She smiles over to you and you're taken aback. She did not run away as you thought, Instead, she smiles broadly and invites you over to join her on the rock. You couldn't help your curiosity before, but now, as you round the pond closer to where the creature sat, you realize just how much larger the mythical creature is in comparison to you, however you feel no malice or ill intent from her, but genuine hospitality. "Beautiful, isn't it?" the creature suddenly speaks, breaking you out of your thoughts over the origin of this creature before you and on the glistening lake behind you. You nod in agreement and redirect your staring off into the distance. "You're new around here, aren't you? the creature asks, looking you over with some regard. For some reason, she's able to tell that you're not from the area. What foresight was this? "Have a seat with me, if you will? I will tell you all about this place." She gives you one last smile before she slips off the rock to sit on the ground with her digi legs folded to place some femineity to her otherwise beastly form. Not bothering to question things further, you sit in front of her with your legs crossed. You're not sure what to expect, but you leave your mind open."This world is unlike any other. How you've come to be is not my place to say, but know that you were placed here for a reason." Though the mythical creature speak to you, her eyes seems to be looking past you, as if she were seeing your tale being told in your eyes. You almost want to divert from her milky gaze."It is dark and cruel out there," she'd go on. "Do not be fooled, child. In due time you will understand. For now, enjoy what this world has to offer. Where there is beauty there is ugliness. Be open and be wary."As you listened on, you couldn't help but feel as though this creature before you is speaking to you like she would a friend, seeing you off on a long journey, possibly never seeing each other again. It was whimsical. You heed the knowledge and prepare to set out on your path to who knows where. The creature doesn't stop you and sees you off with a warm smile.
