ALiKHAT

The Alikhats are a race of feline-like people with traits similar to those of the common cats both large and small. While they closely resemble to that of humans with the body structure and human-like facial features, they also carry feline-like traits like their ears and eyes and sometimes tails. The nose of an alikhat is often flat and wide with a flat bridge. The tip of their nose can be either pink or black, depending on the coloration of the individual. The pigmentation of an alikhat is often depicted as either dark or light in colors, ranging in browns, reds, blues, or pinks. Rarely are there any black or white alikhats of any kind. However those born of black and white are highly regarded as rare and sometimes royal.

The patterns of a alikhat can be similar to those of the common feline race not of their world. Mostly, they can come in stripes or spots and often times splotches. It is known that the alikhats share the homeland of the volkin species known as Volraia. These two species do not get along and have often waged fierce territory war with one another. This feud between the two species would go on for generations before they were forced to seperate, leaving some of the alikhats to branch off to new territory, venturing to discover the Isles of Ikuda.

The behavior of an alikhat comes down to the individual, but most of the time, they tend to act similar to those of the common cat species. They are often seen as loners, aloof to the world and not often depicted as social beings. They tend to stick close to those they are familiar with or comfortable with, be it their own family members or strangers they've come to trust. However, it is not easy to gain the trust of an alikhat. To do so is often seen as a gift of honor. One must first become familiar with the ways the alikhat, learning to accept who they are as a race.

The alikhats can come in a variety of breeds that spand across the realm in all nations and environments, however there are three basic breeds that are often seen.
