URSKIN
​The urskin are known to be the largest beastkin known on Ein. With the features of a bear and a mass large enough to dwarf most of the other beastkin of the world, urskin are a sight to behold. Much like the other beastkin, urskin were born with apex qualities to their face and body parts. There is not much that differentiates them from the earth beasts they resemble save for the more upright stature and larger build. They are built like powerhouses with impressive agility and speed. To see an urskin charge at you would mean certain death as they are capable of delivering a powerful blow with just one swipe of their massive forelimbs. These five digit paws come with their own set of cleavers, sharp enough to tear into flesh. They are also thick enough to dig into the toughest of en and rake away the ground as if it were fresh mound. The jaws of an urskin are said to be strong enough to crush a skull to crumbles. With long fangs, they grip onto those unfortunate enough to be caught within their grasp with unflinching force. The hearing of an urskin is said to be as acute as a vulkin, capable of hearing distances as far as 65 yards away. This gives one of their senses a prime advantage for hunting, something they rarely do, but partake in. Though urskin are proficient hunters, they mostly enjoy fishing, so much so, they have made it into their own sport. Another sport they seem to enjoy is a pastime of theirs known as wrestling. They have taken the youth's activity of tussling and have turned it into a competitive game, a mettle of the heavy weights.
The continent Elaska is known to be the coldest region of Ein. Settled on an island west of Volraia, it holds very little inhabitants called elaskin that are able to withstand the harsh nature of the terra. The land is brittle and dense with hard wood trees that hold foliage of pine, needle-like leaves that scatter the ground in plentiful heaps at the start of fallumn(fall) and in the middle of wynter(winter), the season when the land is at its coldest. It is uncommon for it to snow in the terrains of Ein. Elaska happens to be the only place where snow occurs, giving it its harsh environment where the soil is compact, making the continent unsuitable for farming, which is a reliable source of living throughout the world. This makes a way of life difficult for the elaskin. The urskin, however, have found an easy solution to their predicament by trading the fish they catch to those outside of the region. This opens up a new means of occupation for the elaskin and brings in currency to the otherwise frigid land.
