Nighthood

The House of Nighthood was said to be the very House of Malacath himself. It once was comprised of a proud species called the volkari who were the offspring of the Fallen God after he copulated with the Goddess Yara.. Malacath thought his demi-God brood to be the perfect creation he longed for and sought to keep it that way. After the war with the demi-God kai, there were many volkari lives lost, hinging them in the brink of extinction. The prevent this, the implication of incest was heavily known within the House to preserve their lineage for generations as well as the breeding with other beastkin. This, however, would change with the newest and last generations of the volkari, choosing now to serve one master not of blood under their hood. There is a mansion settled deep within the Kreptic Forest, away from the eyes of the public. The way to the mansion itself is riddled with traps and mazes to confuse would-be trespassers from entering the otherwise sacred grounds. Only those of spiritual aptitude will ever hope to reach the mansion. The mansion itself is an immaculate building now housing five of the lasting members. These dedicated members were all well trained in servitude in preparation for the coming of their masters and sub species, the volkin. The remaining members of the house help maintain the mansion's appearance and have been doing so for the past millennium. During that time, their father had allowed himself to wither from loneliness as well as sustaining heavy damage from the battle with his brother for so long. He locked himself away inside the mansion, away from the eyes of the Elkai Dominion who sought to imprison him in the core of the world once more. His body was preserved by Arkus, who kept the promise to carry the family tradition of servitude towards the volkin. It was prophesied that the rise of the volkin species would help balance the nature of Ein against the oppression of the elkai.
