Eye of Malacath

The Eye of Malacath was created by the molten lava of a volcano. It is said that an alikhat procured the eye after Arkus burned Malacath's body, which was believed to not have completely burned away, thus allowing them to get the eye. The eye itself was said to be cursed for whomever possessed it began to hear voices of The Fallen One which would drive the one who holds it insane. To save his sanity, the alikhat who held cursed eye thre it into a volcano. Because Malacath was a God, he could not be completely killed or destroyed, so the lava of the volcano was able to surround itself around the eye. This would be the reason behind the artifact's powerful ashur magica abilities which is believed to be the most powerful Ashur magica of the world. The artifact was obtained during an overflow of the volcano. A rockhound or someone who hunts minerals was out collecting a specific mineral that is created by lava and the en when it hardens. During his hunt he managed to find the Eye of Malacath. He saw something bright and red sticking out of the harnded magma and picked it up. He thought he had found something very interesting and believed it to be some sort of mineral rock because the "eye" had been closed, however, when the eye opened, that's when Malacath "awakened". The mineral hunter began to hear the voice of the God of Corruption who would whisper things, things the rockhound could not understand for the voice spoke in a unknown language. Believing that the mineral was cursed, he had it turned into someone who could possibly remove the curse. The villock that was hired to remove the curse promised they would hold on to the artifact for the rockhound, but would keep it for themselves overtime, knowing the true value of such a find. However, like the rockhound, the villock also began to hear the voice of Malacath which nearly drove him insane. Not wishing this upon anyone else, the villock brought it to the Magus of the Unknown who would keep the eye and study it for logical purposes. All of the members that have been in contact with the Eye would begin to hear Malacath's voice speak to them. One day, an ashur magi touched the artifact and experienced something. Upon being around the Eye for an extended period he somehow simultaneously became connected with all of the ashur magi of the world. He could see what they saw and even control their every move. He also noticed that he felt that he had become stronger as a result He relayed this info to the rest of his colleagues who all deemed the artifact to be too dangerous for the public and locked it away for safekeeping. It now sits deep within the chambers of the Magus of the Unknown's headquarters along with other dangerous artifacts and objects of high interest. It is heavily guarded and revered as restricted from any and all Unknown personnel save for those of the high council.
