Alacrest

The Alacrest house is a clan of primarily white draken. White draken are extremely rare within the world and they all belong in the same family line. With scales are as white as snow and their temperament is the same; they can be cold and callous or soft and palpable, depending on the draken individual. They are considered to be the most devoted to the Gods in everything that they do. From the time they get up to the moment they lay their heads to rest, the Alacrest pray to the Gods and give thanks. They go through several rituals and ceremonies to showcase this such as prayer before consumption of food, the lending aid and services to others, and will even starve themselves for the sake of gaining the eye of their chosen Gods' grace. With a disciplined mind, body, and spirit the white draken consider themselves to be a pedigree higher than their draken brethren, deeming themselves worthy of being closer to the Gods than any other and thus, holy in some regard. The Alacrest kind believe that they are the next of kin to the kai race, having been blessed with the color of holiness. Stories will tell how a dragon was to fall in love with a kai after the great war of the Gods, and with Malacath sealed away once more, the Kai would find time and peace to live their lives. A kai one day courted a female dragoness and together they would sire the first all white draken of the beastkingdom. They are all over the world, spreading their gospel about the ways of the Gods and how one can attune with them to gain worldly powers beyond their comprehension. This pitch, however would simply be a way to get others interested in the teachings of spirituality and faith, something that Ein had been slowly dwindling away from over the years of war and strife. This is why many Alacrest choose the profession and classes that align with their skills and souls. Professions such as priest, crusader, healer, and monk are the usual classes one takes. There are rural churches and temples that house the Alacrest so that they may worship the Gods in privacy, making the Alacrest clan a rare sighting. When an Alacrest becomes of age, they will have to consider a guild to join in order to strengthen them. Most younglings seek the infamous Order of the Red Flame for its granduer and size, however, The Red Flame is also known to specialize in the holy classes of their preferred professions, resulting in more members of the guild to be of draken kind than any there guild out there.
