Fellfangs

The Fellfangs are typically the ones who do not follow traditions and make up their own beliefs. It started out with a pair of male volkin who were banished from their clan for being in love with each other. One was named Rasheem and the other Jaron. Rather than being put to death, they were exiled from their family pack. The pair found their way moving far up north near the elkaiand bauldermin border, across the sea to New Eingalde. They sought a better life there, free of the watchful eye of the Elkai Dominion and the bigotry of their own kind. With them being fugitives, the two did not have a boat to sail across the sea with, so one would have to be transpired, but neither knew how to build a boat nor did they have the funds to buy one. So they resorted to stealing the money from others. They became highwaymen, robbing unsuspecting travelers looking to reach the docks for their voyage. Over time the two volkin became more brazen and cunning in their work, aiming for heavy pockets of wealthy elkai setting off on luxury cruises. One day, the two happened upon a traveling baldermen blacksmith who looked to have been down on his luck before he even met the two. Having his goods stolen already by rogue selechiia, he offered little to the bandits. He did, however, offer them a paid opportunity for them to become his bodyguards along his travels across the sea. The two highwaymen agreed and would later become known mercenaries from then on. The name Fellfang comes from these two mercenaries pioneering the notion of those who have fallen from their predetermined destinies and forged their own. These named mercenaries typically do most jobs for the money, however dangerous it may be. Although they will deal with a task on land, they are also known to be hunters of the sea.
